Synopsis
Set in the harsh background of the Gold Rush, "The Blood Crown" is about inner and outer challenges from the perspective of a young girl living in a predominantly men's world. Her turbulent journey to get to her father's inheritance will change her forever.
Overview
A story about a female redemption has on my mind for a long time. However, nothing I came up with ever seemed to do it justice. The idea of female empowerment through westerns came as I was re-watching Once Upon A Time in The West for the millionth time. Duels, gun fights and horse chases were amazing but always exclusively involved men. The Blood Crown's aim is to utilize an apparently dissonant movie genre as a mean to emphasize contemporary themes that sadly keep on happening on the daily. It's a project I strongly feel and care about. I hope it will thrill you as much as it thrilled me.

Every member of the crew put his heart and soul into this project.
We are very happy with what we have achieved during the pre-production and shooting process and we want to give these images the post-processing
they deserve.
Color grading, VFX, sound design, editing are just as important when making a short film.
We would love to take this project to the finish line with the same quality and care we have put from the very start.

When will I able to see the final result?
We plan to send the short to several movie festivals but we will put it online afterwards, so that everyone can see it.
If you decide to donate 20€ or more you will get an "early bird" private link as soon as the post-production is over. -
Where will my contribution go?
The money you donate will be spent entirely on post-production and on the perks you'll receive.

We ship all of our perks worldwide.
If you purchase a +500€ pack we will provide you with the accommodation for the Italian Screening but you will have to pay for your flight.
